Equipment

  • 1 air-fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 500g Minced beef
  • 400g Tinned red kidney beans
  • 400g Tomato sauce or passata
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 1 Red onion, finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Remove the stalk and core from the pepper and cut the flesh into cubes. Brown the pepper and onion in a cooking dish or silicone insert in the air fryer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the minced beef and cook for a further 5 minutes. Add the tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Drain and rinse the red kidney beans, add to the chilli con carne and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
  • Serve the chilli con carne with rice, if you wish.
