The Smartwatch That Moves With You From Workout To Workday

by | Partnerships, Tech & Gear

Smartwatches and wearable tech are constantly evolving, with new features dropping every season. But the Garmin Venu® X1 feels slightly different from Garmin’s usual line-up. If you’re constantly checking notifications, banking on the go, taking calls and your phone is basically just sitting in your handbag, it might be time for an upgrade. This new device introduces Garmin’s thinnest watch case yet, along with the biggest display across the range, so you can manage your day-to-day directly from your wrist.

The Venu® X1, Unpacked

Garmin has announced the Venu® X1, setting a new standard in the smartwatch space with an ultrathin design, a 2-inch display and impressive battery life. The watch combines a titanium caseback with a scratch-resistant sapphire lens and an easy-to-read AMOLED display, all within an 8mm case. It also includes a built-in speaker and microphone, allowing users to make and take calls from the wrist when paired with a compatible smartphone, along with a bright LED flashlight for added visibility in darker environments. With up to eight days of battery life in smartwatch mode, it’s designed to do more while charging less.

“Venu X1 is the perfect blend of form, function and style. Not only does it pack all of Garmin’s most popular features into a slim profile, but the large display makes it easy to see everything from preloaded maps and workout stats to health insights and smart notifications with stunning clarity,”
says Susan Lyman, Garmin Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing.

Built-In Features You’ll Actually Use

Made to be worn all day, every day, Venu X1 includes an LED flashlight that provides greater visibility in dark environments. The built-in speaker and microphone let users make and take calls from the watch when it’s paired with a compatible smartphone and use the phone’s voice assistant to respond to text messages.
