Microblading. The treatment that’s been solving brow envy for a couple of years now. It’s the quasi-lasting secret to faking fuller eyebrows that look totally natural. And it’s got many names: microstroking, feather tattooing, eyebrow tattooing. If it’s the word tattooing that’s got you on the fence, we’ve got a few tips to help you “fake” that strong, well-groomed, microbladed brow.
1. Prep your eyebrows
You’ll need a brush or spoolie. Brush your hairs upwards – your brows look thicker and fuller when you brush them northwards. Doing this also gives them a lift, and height allows you see the natural shape of your brow. Use Dr. Hauschka Brow & Lash Gel in Translucent.

2 Filler up
This is the part where you find the gaps and lightly feather in the sparse areas. It’s important you don’t colour in – it’ll leave you with an unnatural look. The aim here is to draw in lines using a thin-tipped brow liner. Use a gentle hand at the front of the brow, but be bolder at the tail end. Use NYX Professional Makeup Micro Brow Pencil.

3 The clean-up
This is the icing on a bold, hot brow. Use a light concealer along the bottom of your brow to neaten it. This lifts and brightens the area. Then add a bit of highlighter just under the brow bone. Use Benefit Brow Contour Pro 4-in-1 Defining & Highlighting Brow Pencil.
