So imagine my shock and surprise when I found out that a set of Mr Price makeup brushes were going viral for being a Real Techniques dupe.

Make-up artist Anke Louize (@ankelouizemua) compared the two and sang the bargain brushes’ praises. “They literally look exactly like the Real Techniques makeup brushes so honestly, I was very surprised. I was very sceptical at first thinking it might feel very plasticky, especially the bristles, cause you don’t want something hard poking your face when you do your makeup. But they were literally the same in size, the same in texture all around.”
After the comparison, Anke Louize said this was definitely a good dupe and they are makeup brushes you need in your everyday kit.

Pro make-up artist and creator Kyla Botha (@hayitskyla) also did a side-by-side comparison between the two sets and gave the Mr Price makeup brushes a big thumbs up, saying “@mrpfashion be doing the most with their makeup brushes.
