The reality is that it’s extremely unlikely. Penis fractures account for only one emergency room visit in 175 000 visits! How a penis fracture happens
The penis is made up out of spongy tissue that fills with blood when a guy gets an erection. This spongy tissue is surrounded by a semi rigid sheath, called the tunica albuginea. When the sponge fills up to a point where the penis is very rigid, it exerts a significant amount of pressure on the sheath. When an external force of pressure is then suddenly applied to the penis, like when he hits your pubic bone or perineum (the area around your vaginal opening) with some force, the sheath can literally break.

There is almost always a cracking sound and an immediate loss of erection with a blue discoloration of the skin. This condition is a medical emergency and should be treated by an experienced urologist within 24 hours. Surgical correction of the sheath will be necessary. If it’s not treated correctly and immediately, it’s possible that the guy will never be able to get an erection again.

Your mother was onto something after all! If he can be more in charge of the movement, it is easier for him to decrease the force he is using to avoid significant trauma.
