The early 2000s
Ahh, the early 2000s, a time for full denim outfits, cargo pants with more pockets than you can count and hoop earrings bigger than your dreams. Well, according to the runways, your childhood favs are back. From bootleg cut jeans with a slight flare, glitzy bags that double as jewellery and mid-drift tops — these essentials will have you singing “Oops I did it again”.
Biker Gang
Great news if you’re a cyclist- your cycle shorts can double as a fashion piece. From street style, celebs and the runways, biker shorts are the hottest trend for the warm weather. The late Princess Diana pioneered this trend back in the 90s and it’s found its way back into our closets. Simply pair them with a denim jacket for a laid back casual look or make it office chic with a blazer and classic button-down. If you’re not keen to try actual bike shorts, you could still be on trend with a cute pair of bermuda shorts.
