Still drinking plain old H2O? Blah!

Sip on these totally delicious healthy drinks this summer – they’re better for you than other soft drinks and they taste absolutely delicious! Recipes provided by our friends at Fressko – creators of a water-bottle–cum–flask and tea infuser that’s made with environmentally-friendly bamboo and glass.

Rosemary And Grapefruit Water

Try this beautifying drink to get that summer glow: grapefruit is an excellent source of Vitamin C (key to preventing wrinkles), while rosemary improves circulation and stimulates hair growth. You can also chug this after a particularly festive spread: rosemary aids digestion.

Double Choc Mint Smoothie

We love cacao: it’s been found to help regulate blood pressure and reduce cholesterol while building the immune system and mint is a natural stimulant that also soothes indigestion and inflammation.

What You Need
250ml natural coconut water
1 frozen ripe banana
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
Fresh mint leaves, small handful
2 tsp cocoa nibs

Add coconut water, banana, cacao powder and fresh mint leaves to a blender or food processor. Blend until combined, stir through cocoa nibs and you’re done!

Orange Ginger Thai Basil Green Tea

Sip on this: ginger has helped us through centuries of nausea and indigestion, while basil is rich in nutrients like potassium. The orange adds a natural sweetness it’s also high in Vitamin C. Yum.

Healthy Summer Drinks

What You Need
½ orange, sliced
1cm nib of ginger, sliced
4-6 fresh thai basil leaves
1 tsp green tea

Add sliced orange and ginger to jug. Add basil leaves and green tea, and slowly top with boiling water. Allow to infuse and then cool for 3 minutes. For hot days, allow this to cool in the fridge and have it as ice tea! Get your flask: pop your leaves in the infuser at the top, and it’ll brew as you chill out.
