While you’d usually associate waffles with a “cheat” meal, this fresh take on an old favourite comes in at 2000kJ and has a bunch of benefits. Nuts are a great source of healthy fats to keep you fuller for longer, bananas are chock-full of potassium and if you choose a yoghurt high in probiotics you’ll keep your tummy happy.
What You Need
½ banana, sliced
2 frozen waffles
¼ cup low-fat Greek yoghurt
2 tbsp toasted walnuts
1/ Toast waffles and top with Greek yoghurt, banana slices and toasted walnuts.
