#Sloungewear?
Essentially, sloungewear is what you get when you combine sleepwear with active and loungewear. Understated outfits are influenced by the normcore trend (a unisex fashion trend characterised by unpretentious, normal-looking clothing). Basically, less is more. It’s all about the basics this season. (Cue giant sigh of relief.)
All body types welcome
This winter, we embrace comfy happiness! The aim is to stay comfortable while still looking fab, whether you’re a size 4 or a 14. Sloungewear is suitable for all body types: loose around the right areas, and snug where it’s needed.
Drapey and oversized silhouettes are super-flattering for all shapes and sizes. Soft, cosy fabrics feel great against your skin. Plus: tight fits fall right out of the equation, so you can really relax in style. Been working out and keen to reveal a glimpse of skin? Joggers can be paired with crop tops, or cropped hoodies and dropped armhole vests, if you want to show off your taut tummy or sculpted arms.
We selected five key sloungewear items to complete your cosiest winter wardrobe ever.
1. The matching tracksuit
The matchy-matchy tracksuit is back from the Seventies and Eighties! You’ll defs have seen them in your folks’ old photos – but this time it’s less neon and more about toned-down colours, where melange and textured fabrics are soft and cosy.

Monochrome joggers are the staple piece to your normcore wardrobe! The baggier and the lower the crotch, the more slounge cred you earn. Dropped-crotch joggers also allow for more stretch and are the latest style addition. They’re perfect for doing yoga – on the couch, of course. What more do you need?
