I read the instruction manual and it seems like it’s pretty simple to use. Two buttons, 20 functions and even a travel lock. After scanning the manual, I also learn that you can adjust the vibration source, i.e. whether the internal shaft is vibrating or the external or both. Even better, I discover that I can save my favourite function, so that when I next turn on the toy, it will automatically start with the saved function (to do this, you need to hold down both buttons for two seconds. The toy will pause, then the buttons will blink and you’ll feel two quick vibrations – this means it’s been saved).

I power up the toy and run through the range of functions and find a few I’d like to try. I use a little bit of lubricant to help things along and then I get going. As I said, the Harmony is a good size, so there’s no problem with inserting it. The bulge of the internal shaft gives a good full feeling and the vibrations are intense and exciting. To be honest, I didn’t actually get past the first setting – I’m a simple girl when it comes to vibrations.
